Extra-curriculum Classes
Conversational Classes
Conversational classes are in a walk-in basis. $20 per class.
This is where you put into practice your knowledge, in these classes, introductions about the students, social issues, history, culture, art and daily events will be open for discussion. The most important thing in a language is to lose the fear to speak in front of others, you will learn to express yourself and to use your creative mental process to start a conversation and keep up with a conversation. All conversational classes are facilitated by one of our instructors.
Beginner levels: Friday at 12pm and 6:30 pm
Intermediate to advanced levels: Wednesday at 11am and 6pm
Book Club
Book club is on a walk in basis although coming weekly will be more beneficial. $20 per class.
Beginner levels: Saturday at 11am
Intermediate to advanced levels: Saturday at 2pm
Book clubs are a good way to expand your vocabulary, learn synonym words and idiomatic expressions while after every chapter discussing what we have read.
Monthly movie/biography night (free)
This movie night offers the biography or history of events and/or people of Spanish speaking countries. Most of the time this class will be conducted in English with question and answer and conversation in Spanish afterwards. This is a cultural class NOT a language class, our purpose is for the student to learn about our culture, history and people of our countries.
Monthly Art and History of Spanish speaking countries $20
This class focus on an specific person, his or her art and the history behind their art. This is a cultural class NOT a language class, our purpose is for the student to learn about our culture, history and people of our countries.
